SPECIAL PROJECTS
With my skills as a visual storyteller and creative director, I also work beyond photography. Below, I share projects involving urban interventions, experience design and content production for brands.
I am the founder and experience designer of Bloco Explode Coração, one of São Paulo's largest street carnival bands. In the last edition, in 2024, more than 150,000 revelers followed our parade, which featured an urban intervention I created with aerial acrobats descending the facade of an iconic building in downtown São Paulo.

Between 2022 and 2024, I was in charge of Casa Coração, a cultural center in São Paulo with the capacity to host up to 300 people per event. In addition to conceiving the project, I was responsible for all communication, programming and curatorial aspects of the space. During these years, I was able to exercise my management skills and liaise directly with civil society. I promoted a diverse and inclusive environment that hosted performances by hundreds of independent artists and members of the LGBTQIAPN+ community from different regions of Brazil and the world.

In 2021, I developed VAYU, a program of immersive experiences in nature that combines art, gastronomy, and health. Through body awareness practices and collective dynamics, the retreat team, composed of physicians, visual artists, yoga instructors, physiotherapists, and chefs, guides the participants for four days. During this time, participants are invited to engage in transformative experiences that stimulate their creativity and well-being. To date, two editions of the retreat have been held on the coast of São Paulo and I am responsible for designing the program and leading the creative activities.

In 2021, I conceived the urban intervention “Quando o Carnaval Chegar” (When Carnival Comes). During the carnival period, we created and displayed mapped projections on the Municipal Theater building in São Paulo and painted the street with the phrase “Tô me guardando pra quando o carnaval chegar” (I'm saving myself for when carnival arrives). In addition to these actions, we marked off an empty space with traffic cones that would be occupied by people if we weren't in social isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This action was produced by Bloco Explode Coração in partnership with the São Paulo Municipal Secretariat of Culture.
In 2017, the Government of Portugal invited me to handle the stage and image direction for the social art project “Trilogia dos Vales” (The Valleys Trilogy), a musical show starring the local community, especially the elderly and people with disabilities. I lived in Monção, Portugal, for three months to develop the stage direction concept and film all the video content that comprised the performances.

In 2016, I created #shareyoursister, a movement designed to publicize the contemporary work of women visual artists. Over the course of a year, we took to the streets of São Paulo to put up posters featuring our work. The file with the hashtag was made available online so that women from all over the world could join the movement.

Between 2014 and 2015, I worked as a visual storyteller for Ben & Jerry's, a multinational ice cream company. The brand had just started operations in Brazil, and I was part of the activation team for the brand's social mission. I was responsible for all photography, including video direction.
