I remember my first flights when I would put on some music with my headphones and read the in-flight magazines to distract myself from my fear of flying. I would look at all the pictures of various places, with recommendations for bars and restaurants, and I would imagine myself in those environments as a way to calm myself down. This desire was so strong that I somehow turned it into reality. Years later, my fear of flying diminished and I ended up photographing for some of Latin America's leading in-flight magazines and other trend, behavior, and lifestyle publications.
