PORTRAITS

I often say that photography is what happens between the photographer’s gaze and the person in front of the camera. For me, portraiture begins with creating a space where people can feel at ease, allowing presence, gesture and personality to emerge naturally. It is in that encounter, and in the trust that grows from it, that I look for the subtle, authentic moments that reveal something of who they are.
